Iraq – Execution campaigns against journalists and violators of Iranian policy and regime

The coordinator of the Metro Center for Defending the Rights of Journalists in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Rahman Gharib, pointed that there are widespread execution campaigns against journalists and everyone who, in his opinion, contradicts or opposes the policy of the regime and the authorities in Iran, and that all international organizations have blacklisted Iran in the field of Human rights freedoms in general, as a country that violates human rights, women, children and journalists, in addition to the right to opinion and even the right of human rights defenders, Gharib called on international organizations to put more pressure on Iran to review its behavior and change it with regard to respecting freedoms, observers explained that the Islamic Republic of Iran is a bad example and model in the world of freedoms, respect for other opinion and democracy, stressing that for 40 years Iran has had no press and media freedoms and personal freedoms, and it is a police state based on intimidation only.
