Yemen- Heritage listed homes and buildings collapse in the old city of Sana’a

Four old houses collapsed in the historic city of Sana’a, which is classified on the World Heritage List, as a result of the rains and torrents that have hit the Yemeni capital about two weeks ago, the deputy head of the Historic Cities Preservation Authority, Aqil Nassari, warned that there are 107 houses whose roofs partially fell due to the continuous heavy rains. In addition, there are 5,000 homes that are threatened with collapse due to water leakage inside them.
