Syria – Syrian Orthodox celebrate St. Mar Elias and third anniversary of reopening their church in Amouda

On Monday, the Syrian Orthodox celebrated the third anniversary of the reopening of the Church (Saint Elias Al Hayy) in the city of Amouda in Al-Hasakah governorate, northeastern Syria, after its closure for about 40 years after most of the Syrian Orthodox migration from the city, and this occasion coincides with the feast of St. (Elias Al Hayy) Which falls on the twentieth of July every year.
