Displaced women from the ongoing war in the city of Manbij and its countryside tell the treatment methods of ISIS with women in Syria’s northern region, which includes violating the sanctities of the houses of civilians and taking them as prisoners and the imposition of sanctions against anyone who violates their laws.

The displaced clarified that ISIS members forbade women from leaving their homes and if she did they would whip them or take the husband instead, what increased the suffering is the lack of food for the families there.

ISIS imposed strict laws on regions they controlled in Syria and Iraq.
