Iraq – Analysts: Al-Kadhimi seeks to allow the state control all the issues…not militias who undermine the security

Analysts confirmed that there are forces trying to impose their control over the government decision and trying to destabilize security in Iraq after the great victories achieved by the Iraqi army against ISIS, pointing out that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi began the necessary steps to prevent the dominance of militias on the ground and stated the need to limit the weapon to the hands of the state. In a tweet the Prime Minister wrote, on his Twitter account on Thursday, he said: “I will not allow outlaws to kidnap Iraq in order to create chaos and find pretexts to perpetuate their interests,” referring to the Katyusha rocket launchers on Thursday on the heavily fortified Green Zone in Baghdad, where there are government headquarters and diplomatic missions, including the U.S. Embassy, adding: “The missiles that targeted the Monument to the Unknown Soldier in Baghdad seek to threaten our stability and future, which will not be taken lightly”.
