The fear of the transmission and outbreak of coronavirus in the country was not the only reason why many Iraqi merchants and citizens in Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan, were reluctant to buy and import Iranian goods and products, the poor quality of goods and products imported from Iran is also enough for many citizens to boycott these goods and refrain from buying them, experts pointed out that Iran exports to Iraq some corrupt goods of low quality and are usually below the standards of international quality control, and that the Coronavirus pandemic has had a major impact on the unwillingness of citizens to open border crossings with Iran for importing and exporting, out of fear of the outbreak of the virus in the region.
