Jordanians today held the first Friday prayers in all mosques after a closure that lasted about two and a half months due to preventive measures imposed by the government to curb the spread of the coronavirus, hundreds of worshippers flocked on foot to the Husseini Mosque in the center of the Jordanian capital Amman, which, like other mosques, witnessed a security presence and strict measures at its entrances to ensure that worshippers adhere to preventive measures and distance between them, it is worth mentioning that the government has closed most institutions, including mosques, on March 14 as part of precautionary measures to deal with the coronavirus epidemic.
