Syria- Simalka border crossing opens for those stranded in northeastern Syria
Simaylaka Crossing with Iraqi Kurdistan Region – Syria 31/05/2020
The administration of the Simalaka border crossing with the Kurdistan Region of Iraq in north-eastern Syria has decided to open the crossing to Syrian citizens who were stuck in the region who were on a satisfactory or family visit and to allow them to return to their areas, after the crossing was closed for almost 3 months due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, it is expected that no less than 1,500 citizens will be arriving to northern Syria.
