Iraq- ISIS exploits political crisis and security gaps to launch attacks and mount a resurgence

Analysts pointed out that ISIS is trying to take advantage of any political or security gaps such as those occurring in Syria as a result of the Turkish-Russian-American conflict, which occurs in Iraq as a result of internal conflicts between the government and other political forces, to reactivate of its sleeper cells in the region and organize its ranks again, adding that ISIS forces want to gain a foothold in Iraq, through surprise attacks on popular mobilization forces and security forces, especially in light of the weak political decision in Iraq and the conflicts of political forces in Iraq on the formation of the Iraqi government.
