Syria – ISIS detainees revolt after attempt to escape from a prison in Al-Hasakah

A number of ISIS detainees announced the rebellion after they tried to escape from Ghweran prison, which the SDF had converted to a temporary detention center for ISIS militants in the city of Al-Hasakah, northeastern Syria, and that after a number of members of the organization destroyed the walls of the cells and took control of a large part of the prison, before the “Qasd” forces extended their control of the prison once again with the help of the international coalition aircraft that threw gas and sound bombs at the prison, the ISIS detainees demanded the international coalition and human rights organizations to intervene and view their conditions in the prison, while the prison administration confirmed that the governments have not yet fulfilled their pledges regarding the conditions of ISIS detainees, It is noteworthy that the Ghweran prison contains about 5 thousand ISIS detainees from more than 50 nationalities from all over the world.
