Iraq – The first factory in Iraq to produce medical masks to counter coronavirus

Health supplies in Iraq, particularly the Kurdistan Region, witnessed an unprecedented demand for paper medical masks, especially after the increasing numbers of people infected throughout the country, which led to a rise in the prices of masks due to the scarcity of their presence due to demand increasingly, which cause one of the workshops and sewing factories in Sulaimaniyah province, to produce approximately 1400 medical masks per day in addition to producing insulating medical pectoral, to prevent coronavirus, the workers pointed out that the factory specializes mainly in the production of medical clothing, it is the first in Iraq to produce high quality masks, the masks contain 4 filters to purify the air inside the mouth and nose.
