Syria- Self-administration announces a package of measures to tackle Corona amid scarcity of capabilities

The self-administration in the north and east of Syria decided to close all schools, universities and institutes in its regions and to stop all manifestations of celebrations in the month of March on the occasion of Nowruz holidays, The self-administration also took a decision to close all the crossings that border northern and eastern Syria, including the Semalka border crossing with the Kurdistan region of Iraq and the crossings with the Syrian interior, these decisions came according to the self-management as precautionary measures to prevent Corona virus, It also indicated that it had established 7 centers to diagnose the virus in case of suspicion, despite the limited capabilities due to the scarcity of aid provided by international organizations, and the self-management appealed to citizens to take all preventive measures to limit the spread of the virus in the region.
