Jordan – First Coronavirus case in Jordan

Jordanian Minister of Health Saad Jaber announced the recording of the first case of the new Coronavirus during a press conference held today at the Prime Minister’s office in Amman, adding that the patient has been transferred to the department of epidemiological isolation at Prince Hamza Hospital, Jaber said the case recorded was of a Jordanian citizen who has arrived from Italy before activating quarantine procedures on Jordanians coming from Italy and when he appeared to show symptoms of the disease he was put in quarantine days ago, Jaber also revealed that a medical investigation team was sent to examine the victim’s family, sanitize the house, and hold the family for 14 days in quarantine.
