Yemen – Late confession of al-Qaeda leader’s assassination in the Arabian Peninsula

Al-Qaeda yesterday acknowledged the killing of its leader in the Arabian Peninsula Qassim al-Rimi, 20 days after he was killed in a U.S. raid on Ma’rib Province in northern Yemen, which observers considered late because U.S. President Donald Trump had officially announced it two weeks ago, pointing out that the killing of al-Rimi is a major deadly blow for al-Qaeda.
