Iraq-Analysts: Iran circumvents economic sanctions imposed on it
اBasra – Iraq 20/02/2020
Economists have explained that Iran is circumventing the economic sanctions imposed on it by relying on the fragile Iraqi economy, which in turn depends on Iranian imports, as Iran exports various goods, in addition to gas and electricity to Iraq through official and unofficial outlets, and the volume of trade exchange between Iraq and Iran is the second largest trade exchange after China, adding that the size of economic and trade relations between Iraq and Iran is very large, and this gave the way for Iraq to become the lung through which Iran breathes, to reduce the impact of the US sanctions imposed on it.
