Jordan – Hundreds call for gas deal to be dropped in response to the deal of the century

A mass march began this afternoon with hundreds of citizens from the Husseini Mosque to Nakheel Square in the centre of Amman to denounce the government’s continued work on the gas agreement after US President Donald Trump announced the deal of the century. The march has been organized by Jordan’s national campaign to drop the gas agreement with Israel under the title “Responding to the Deal of the Century: Dropping the Gas Agreement”, the demonstrators demanded that the decision makers in Jordan stand up to the deal of the century instead of merely talking, as it is inevitable for them to drop the gas agreement and prosecuting those involved in its signing, passing and implementation.
