Syria – A severe economic crisis due to the rise in the exchange rate of the dollar against the local currency

Residents of Qamishli city in Hasaka governorate suffer from difficult economic conditions due to the large rise in the exchange rate of the dollar against the Syrian pound, the price of the dollar reached 1060 Syrian pounds, which led a rise in prices of all goods, food and other daily needs in the markets due to the fall in the local currency which caused a severe economic crisis, food prices rise daily with the rise of the dollar against the Syrian pound, and some traders are monopolizing some goods and controlling the prices of materials.
