Yemen – Implementation of the second phase of the Riyadh Agreement begins

The second phase of the Riyadh agreement, signed between the legitimate government and the Transitional Council under the auspices of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition, began today in the interim capital Aden in southern Yemen, this second phase includes military and security steps and the appointment of a Governor and a Director of Aden Security in accordance with a specific time plan.The Saudi ambassador to Yemen, who oversees the Saudi program for the development and reconstruction of Yemen, Mohammed Al Jaber, announced that the teams of the legitimate government in Yemen and the Transitional Council discussed and agreed on several points to be implemented starting today, including military and security steps as well as the the appointment of a Governor and a Director of Aden security.
