Iraq – Protesters reject to name Iran-backed bloc’s nominee as PM

Analysts stressed the need for political blocs to consider nominating independent names approved by the Iraqi street to take over the post of prime minister to replace Adel Abdul Mahdi, who resigned after the demonstrations that came out in early October, for their part, demonstrators expressed their refusal to appoint a prime minister supported by Iran pointing out the need to choose someone from the Iraqi street and not from the current political elite.
