Iraq – Demonstrators reject Al-Suhail’s candidacy as prime minister

Demonstrators today in Tahrir Square in central Baghdad have rejected the candidacy of former Minister of Higher Education Qusay Al-Suhail for the post of prime minister as a candidate for “Albenaa” coalition consisting of Shiite political forces closely linked to Iran, in addition to being one of the pillars of the government of Adel Abdul Mahdi who the demonstrations have called for their downfall from the first day of their outbreak, calling on the President of the Republic to choose an independent personality away from partisan and political quotas.
