Iraq – Demands for the president’s removal on charges of violating the constitution

The sadekon parliamentary bloc began collecting popular and parliamentary signatures on a petition demanding the removal of Iraqi President Barham Saleh from his post on charges of violating the constitution, especially after the delay in naming a new prime minister after the resignation of the current president Adel Abdul Mahdi and the approval of the Parliament of that decision. On the other hand, demonstrators stressed that their movement demanding economic and political reforms will not stop until the departure of the ruling authority coming from different parties completely.
