Iraq – Young Mohammed uses demonstrating as a painkiller for cancer
Baghdad – Iraq 20/12/2019
The pain of cancer was not able to prevent young Mohammed Firas from participating in the Iraqi popular movement calling for reform, not only participating but also volunteering and helping demonstrators in Tahrir Square. Since the arrival of Hamad, as his friends call Mohammed, who suffers from leukemia, to Tahrir Square from Diyala province, his tent there has turned into a destination for demonstrators who want to cut their hair or shave, until the participants started calling it the tent of the cancer fighter Hamad.
