Iraq – Exhibition in Tahrir square to support domestic industry instead of imports from Iran

Following the launch of the “Made in Iraq” and “Let It Rot” campaigns to boycott Iranian goods, demonstrators this morning held the “Tahrir Youth” exhibition in Tahrir Square in central Baghdad to urge citizens to support local industry, according to the organizers of the exhibition, who affirmed their belief that the real revolution is an economic revolution, to support and develop the local product, which contributes to the employment of working hands of the Iraqi people, it is worth mentioning that during the past years, Iraq has been the first import from Iran, who exported nearly $9 billion to Iraq, from cars to plastic products, building materials and even vegetables and dairy products.
