Syria – New aid convoy from Iraqi Kurdistan region for the displaced people of Ras al-Ain and Tal Abyad

Today, a new convoy of humanitarian aid from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq has entered through the Semalka border between Iraq and Syria to the Self-Administration areas of north-eastern Syria, this is the sixth convoy provided by the Barzani Charitable Foundation for the displaced people of Ras al-Ain and Tal Abyad who have been sheltered In The Washokani camp west of Hasaka city, the convoy consists of 40 trucks loaded with tents, winter clothes, water refineries and other supplies needed by displaced people, this comes in the highlight of an absence of the majority of international organizations from the area after the Turkish military operation in the north of Syria, in addition to the absence of the role of The United Nations in helping displaced people and providing support and assistance to humanitarian situations in the region.
