Iraq – Clashes between demonstrators and security forces in Najaf

Twenty-five demonstrators were injured in Iraq’s southern province of Najaf on Saturday after clashing with security forces who fired live bullets at demonstrators as they opened fire at the main gate of the shrine of Mohammed Baqir al-Hakim, one of Iraq’s most prominent former Shiite leaders.
