Syria – Women’s March in Qamishli on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women

The city of Qamishli, in the province of Hasaka in northeastern Syria, witnessed this morning a women’s march on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, where participants raised slogans stressing the need to stop violence against women in Syria, after a number of organizations announced that the number of women killed since the events began in Syria has crossed the barrier of 30,000 women.
