Syria – Rojava Orchestra Celebrates 3 years since its founding

In coordination with the Al Jazeera Culture Authority, the curators organized a concert to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of the founding of the band, the event was held at the Mohammed Sheikho Center for Culture and Art in Qamishli city, Hasaka governorate, northeastern Syria, in the presence of administrative representatives of the Culture Authority, the Artists’ Union, the Education Authority and representatives of political parties in the Islands Region, hundreds of residents of Qamishli participated in the concert, the Rojava Orchestra is the first specialized children’s academy group in the region to be taught to play various musical instruments under the supervision of specialized musicians.
