Iraq- Iraq Energy Forum kicks off in Baghdad

The Iraq Energy Forum 2019 kicked off on Saturday under the slogan “Economic cooperation for peace and prosperity in the Middle East”, With the participation of the Secretary General of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Mohammed Barkindo, and major Arab and international companies concerned with energy and oil affairs, official and diplomatic figures and a number of investors and economists. The importance of the conference, which is being held for the fifth time in Baghdad, being a forum for businessmen and representatives of oil and energy companies to discuss further expansion of investments in Iraq.
