Syria – Rebuilding and rehabilitating Raqqa mosques starts

The popular committees in the northern Syrian city of Raqqa, under the supervision of the Office of Religious Affairs, have begun to reconstruct and rehabilitate the city’s mosques, which have been destroyed by ISIS elements who have hid inside them during the battles and used them as camps for attacks, Ali Alshuaib, head of the Religious Affairs Foundation in Raqqa province and its countryside, said that some of the mosques that have been completely destroyed have been rehabilitated by donors and residents in Raqqa, not by a responsible authority or support organization, there are approximately 395 mosques in Raqqa province and its countryside.
