Jordan: The opening of SOFEX Conference
Jordan’s King Abdullah II opened today in the Jordanian capital Amman the eventa of Special Operations Forces equipment (SOFEX 2016) at its eleventh session, the exhibition focuses on all the requirements of special operations and national security and the security services and peacekeeping forces and training fields related to them.
Special Operations Forces equipment exhibition (SOFEX 2016) was launched in the Jordanian capital Amman at its eleventh session.
SOFEX is classified as the first global exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa, which is specialized in the field of special operations equipment and national security, and it focuses on all special operations and security agencies and peacekeepers requirements and training fields that are related to them.
The exhibition, which is attended by more than 380 companies from 37 countries, included free skydiving, carried out by Special Operations forces, in addition to the vertical planes of the Royal Air Force. Special operations forces carried an exercise to combat terrorism, the show also included wings of local, Arab and global companies displaying their products of military and operational equipments used in the fields of military defense and special operations and counter-terrorism.
