Syria – Center for teaching musical instruments academically in Qamishli

Despite the difficult living conditions of north Syria, the city of Qamishli is trying to revive the art and music, where many young people and children of Al-Qamishli in the province of Hasakah in northeastern Syria join the centers of musical instruments, to learn music, play instruments of all types and for entertainment. According to the manager of Saz music Center for teaching musical instruments, the center was founded in 2013 in the city of Qamishli, at a time when terrorism was threatening the city few kilometers away. The center defied the crisis and wanted to hear the people of the city, the sounds of music instead of the sounds of weapons. The center is teaching students different instruments such as Tambour, lute, piano, guitar and others with global curriculum and academically.
