Syria- Thousands of agricultural lands hectares destroyed by fires in Al-Qamishli

Fire broke out in 40 thousand hectare of agricultural lands in the Tal Hamis area of Al-Qamishli in Al-Hasakah governorate, north-east of Syria. The farmlands were exposed to arson from unknown groups, where the crops were devoured by the fire as the harvest season began, which has a devastating implications on food and economic security in Syria.
