Syria – Deir Ezzor’s people are suffering due to the rise of dollar exchange rate

The residents of the town of Al Jazrat, west of Deir Ezzor governorate, suffer from difficult economic conditions due to the significant rise in the exchange rate of the dollar against the Syrian Lira, which led to an increase in prices of all foodstuffs and basic needs, resulting in low activity in markets in the governorate, where residents became unable to buy foodstuffs and housewares especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
