Yemen – Southern leaders meet in Aden for updates

An expanded meeting of Southern Resistance leaders was held yesterday in Aden Governorate, south of Yemen, at the invitation of the Chairman of the Transitional Council, Major General Aidarus Al Zubaidi, during a speech at the meeting, Al Zubaidi stressed on the continued role and national responsibility of the Southern Resistance, reaffirming the commitment the full Southern leaderships of the Arab Coalition countries to continue fighting the Houthis and supporting them in achieving the goals of the Operation Firmness Storm and the restoration of hope, Al Zubaidi appealed to the UN envoy to involve Southerners as a key party in the negotiations, and announced the establishment of combat hubs, and unity of command, control, and preparation to cover all the military fronts, stressing on the need to move militarily and urgently on the fronts of Al Dali and parts of Lahij and Abyan provinces, that are under  Houthi attacks, in addition to working on liberating the Hadramaut Valley, which is suffering from terrorism troubles, occupation and other areas in Shabwah and Abyan, he also demanded the southern people to help and support the Southern Resistance forces.
