Iraq – Charity Iftar banquets for over 3,000 people at Sulaymaniyah Great Mosque

The Sulaymaniyah Great Mosque, also known as the Mosque of Kaka Ahmad Sheikh, has an annual tradition of holding charity Iftar banquets for over 3,000 poor and needy people of different nationalities and sects, not only during the Holy Month of Ramadan but also throughout the year. The Iftar banquets are funded by donations of the rich, well-heeled and philanthropists.
