Iraq – Activists launch “The Joy of an Orphan” initiative for Iftar for more than 400 children in Mosul

 Activists from the city of Mosul launched the “The Joy of an Orphan” initiative for Iftar for more than 400 orphans, especially children of civilians killed during the fighting with the ISIS group after 2014, as the number of orphans in Mosul is estimated to be about 6,000 children, according to activists, this initiative can be seen as a message that activists are trying to send to the politicians in Iraq to draw their attention to the interest in this segment of orphans and to transmit their voice to the Iraqi government.
