Yemen – A consultative meeting stressing on the adherence to the state and the rejection of any form of militia formations.

A consultative meeting, the largest of its kind in years, was held by social figures, political figures, intellectuals, and men who work in the intellectual and media sectors, in the In Al Maasheq Palace in the temporary capital of Aden, in southern Yemen, in the presence of the Yemeni Interior Minister Ahmed Al Maysari and a number of officials, the participants stressed that the future of the south and any conversation on behalf of its people cannot be signified by any political component or party, stressing their adherence to the state and its presence and rejecting any formations of militias, they also called on the government to activate the role of its institutions in Aden as well as to reinforce law and order and improve all basic services.
