Iraq – 6th Iraq Energy Exhibition and Conference kicks off in Baghdad

Iraq’s 6th Energy Exhibition and Conference kicked off at the “IE” International Fair in Baghdad, under the slogan “Investing for integrated energy in Iraq”. The exhibition was launched under the patronage of the Iraqi Prime Minister and the Ministries of Electricity, Oil, Industry, and Minerals, as well as the National Investment Authority, and it was attended by 86 Iraqi, Arab and foreign companies specialized in the energy field, in the forefront of which, the ABB, General Electric, Siemens and the Mass Group Holding. It also witnessed a broad participation by international experts who came to discuss the future of the energy sector in Iraq, and find ways to pave the way for new investment and cooperation opportunities with the Ministry of Electricity, which in turn will contribute to making a favourable impact in the country’s energy market.
