Iraq – Analysts: Saudi Arabia tries to build ties with Iraq through several files

Iraqi experts and analysts stated that Saudi Arabia is trying to build ties with Iraq through several economic, cultural and educational projects, adding that the official Saudi delegation that paid a visit to Iraq made agreements about multiple long-term investment projects, adding that the objective behind this is to limit the Iranian presence in Iraq, especially in Diwaniyah, Al-Samawah and part of Najaf, Anbar and Nineveh. It is noteworthy that a Saudi delegation headed by Saudi Minister of Trade and Investment along with a number of Saudi ministers visited Iraq on the 3rd of this month.
