UAE – 11th Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival kicks off

The 11th Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival was opened at the Sharjah Expo Center by Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, with contributions by 198 publishers from 56 Arab and foreign countries. Organized by the Sharjah Book Authority, the festival will be running until April 27 under the slogan “Discover Knowledge”. Ahmed Al Ameri, Chairman of the Sharjah Book Authority, stated that the festival is keen to present a selection of diverse events as part of inclusive educational programs and activities in both Arabic and English, pointing out that the festival’s slogan sends a message to the new generations to encourage them to always search for knowledge.
