Iraq – Erbil International Book Fair continues in its 14th edition

The 14th Erbil International Book Fair continues to take place at the international exhibitions Center in Erbil, Kurdistan, where over 300 publishing houses from 21 Arab and foreign countries are taking part along with over 80 intellectuals. The book fair showcases hundreds of thousands of books of different genres, and it also embraces dozens of activities and cultural seminars. The exhibition, which is taking place from the 3rd until the 13th of April, aims to promote reading as an activity of raising awareness, and also aims to encourage publish houses and cultural institutions to expand their publishing and translation movements, and help arrange meetings and conversations between the publishers and the readers.
