Iraq – Deteriorating living conditions results in reverse displacement from Mosul into camps

Mosul in Nineveh governorate in northern Iraq is experiencing reverse displacement from the city into camps and other regions due to the deteriorating service sector in the city with regards to water and electricity, lack of healthcare and educational centers. In addition to that, delaying the process of reconstruction and deteriorating security and economic conditions. All of this forced some citizens to return back to camps. The citizens of Mosul demanded the government and authorities to provide aid and services to displaced people, as well as expedite the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the destroyed parts of Mosul.
