Experts described the economic delegations’ frequent visits to Baghdad, the latest of which was the Saudi economic delegation’s visit last Thursday, as part of a regional race to sign trade agreements with Iraq after ISIS was defeated and the country got stabilized. They also believe that these visit depict a conflict on the Iranian-Qatari axis on one hand, and the Saudi-American axis on another. Others stressed the need for the Investment Authority to develop clear and precise strategies to override the bureaucracies within the state departments, therefore promoting and attracting investment opportunities.
