Yemen: inaugurating the livelihood project
Women’s Development Foundation in the city of Taiz, Yemen, have launched the first phase of the livelihood project for providing a hundred source of living for women who are sustaining their families after losing their breadwinners and their living source due to the war in Yemen. Over sixteen project and living source were handed for sixteen of the women, within a hundred project will be delivered during 2016.
Under the slogan of “Community Rehabilitation”, Women’s Development Foundation have launched the first phase of the livelihood project for providing sixteen living source project within a hundred project will be delivered in 2016. The project aims to secure a living for women in families who lost their breadwinners or their living source due to the war in Yemen.
Livelihood project inaugurates a social survey for women in Taiz city, have reached almost 1,400 families, that have given the project a second chance to get a new livelihood source as a first step in securing a decent life, since the project aims to implement a strategic plan that includes basic needs to meet the needs of Yemeni women.
