Yemen – Protests in Aden continue

Protests in the temporary capital of Aden in southern Yemen continue for the sixth day straight, due to the killing of young man “Raafat Dambaa” in Al-Maala district by armed members of one of the security forces. The protesters blocked the main city street and other side streets, as well as burnt tires demanding the handover of the killers of the young man who witnessed the rape of a seven year-old boy. A number of protesters requested unifying the security agencies and merging the armed formations with the official agencies. The committee formed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Ahmad al-Maisari is investigating the facts of the case nominated for submission by the public of Yemen.
