Iraq – Women Marathon marking International Women’s Day

The Sulaymaniyah Marathon Organization held a women’s marathon under the theme “Women are society’s fate” in Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan, on March 8, to mark International Women’s Day. The marathon was organized in collaboration with the Kurdistan Women Union, where over 200 women of different age groups took part at the marathon, aiming to acknowledge the great role played by women in the Iraqi society.
