Syria – Syrian Democratic Forces continue to besiege ISIS in Baghouz

Baghouz – Deir Ez Zor eastern countryside – Syria 26/02/2019

Mustafa Bali, head of the Syrian Democratic Forces media office confirmed that the forces continue to besiege ISIS in a small geographic area inside Baghouz in Deir Ez Zor eastern countryside. He added that the forces are trying to avoid directly engaging with ISIS in order to protect the civilians who ISIS is using as human shields, as well as give the opportunity to evacuate those left in the last ISIS pocket.
