Iraq – Carpenter revives the landmarks and heritage of Mosul through wooden scale models

Carpenter Mohammad Said, one of the old carpenters of Mosul revived the heritage and relics of his city through small wooden models that embody the old city and the relics destroyed by ISIS. Old age did not stop him from continuing to work for more than 40 years. His interest is focused on building scale models that embody the old city, the Mashrabiya of its houses and its narrow alleys that represent an ancient history and heritage.
