Yemen – UAE Red Crescent holds a ceremony marking the end of the Year of Zayed

The UAE Red Crescent in Aden held a ceremony to mark the end of the Year of Zayed, a year dedicated to the celebration of Zayed’s life and legacy. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the government and local authorities of Aden, Lahij, Abyan, Dhale and Taiz, whose governors were honored during the ceremony for their cooperation and hard work to launch service and development projects in their governorates. Sultan Al Shamsi, representative of the UAE Red Crescent, delivered a speech during the ceremony in which he stressed that the UAE is committed to constantly providing Yemen with aid, stating that during the Year of Zayed more humanitarian assistance was delivered and more projects were launched, reaching areas that did not have access to aid.
