Syria – First court in Deir el-Zour’s western countryside was inaugurated

Following the establishment of a Social Justice Bureau, the first court in Al-Kasra Village in Deir al-Zour’s western countryside was inaugurated in order to legally resolve disputes and differences between people in the area. Judge Mohammed al-Ahmad asserted each citizen’s right to show up and speak freely before the Court with no restrictions, adding that some lawsuits have been assigned a lawyer, and others have not.
